There is much speculations and myths about the year 2012. Many believe that the planet may ascend to another dimension during that time. Also, some others believe that something magical will happen that bring certain people to a better place. In my opinion, all these scenarios may be too far fetched to be true. People have been taking symbolic interpretations too literally. 587 views (less) |

death and birth and death and birth and... So many answers, so much time. What comes after winter solstice? Spring equinox? Easter? Washington's birthday? Or, was that winter solstice 1892...in which case, a whole bunch of more solstices and equinoxes. So many answers, so much time. What comes after winter solstice? Spring equinox? Easter? The problem with health care is not just if people have access to it, but how effective it is. The solution to quality of care, as well as access, is to open up the process of clinical testing. It shouldn't cost a lot of money. People would try anything for free, and sign legal waivers. Then, not only would all medicine become cheaper, but we could also make tests to prove how things like diet, lifestyle, and herbs might be just as effective, both for cures, and health maintainence, as phramacuiticals and more invasive techniques. 594 views (less) |

I think it's like the Tibetans describe, a dream like bardo, followed by, most likely, reincarnation. Although in the Tibetan idea, some people end up getting enlightened, or going to a hell like place...which is non-permanent, but can be long lasting. In these cases they might not get reincarnated. And even if you do get reincarnated, there is no guarantee it will be as a human, or on this planet, or in this dimension. 583 views (less) |

Immediately after death, it seems pretty likely that reports from "near death experiences" (NDEs) are probably pretty accurate. I see no reason to think otherwise. But after that, I think it might get a lot more mysterious. I think beings might diffuse, and get absorbed in to other beings...maybe more in to the ones who were close to them in life. 512 views (less) |
